Vintage Sheet Grocery Bag

Vintage sheet grocery bag

I plan on making a dozen or so because I can never find my reusable grocery totes. These are bigger and more substantial, yet still lightweight and completely washable, plus they'll all be a uniform size.

great idea! I just read a report about how yucky these get because people don't think to wash them and use them for both meat and other foods. Having ones made of sheets (instead of the weird material store bought ones are made of) makes washing them a breeze. I may have to whip some up too!

Dude! I have totally been planning on making something very similar to this ever since I got my box of sheet FQ's! Seriously, we mind-melded! That looks awesome!

I got the idea from that blog (I think it's all things vintage sheets) but theirs was much more shallow. I don't want to make so many trips in and out of the car to the kitchen.

I'll bring it next week to guild. There are some things I'll do differently next time, but I am excited about it.

Would be happy to show you what mistakes I made and how I'll improve it. :)

Lauren, you crack me up. All the time. :D
